Bistro Roca
Every November we trek to Blowing Rock, NC (we have been doing this for the last eight years) to getaway from it all and recharge the batteries. The kids hang out with the grandparents and we enjoy a weekend of parking the car, sleeping, shopping, drinking and dining. We have spent the long weekend meeting folks from all over for the last seven years at The Inn at Ragged Gardens (highly recommended). We discovered a new restaurant last year and it is our current favorite. Tonight's selections were a BR Burger, a sashimi grade tuna over grit cakes, a margarita and a Dogfish Head Palo Santo (very dark, 12% ABV and awesome).
